A small company, said plainly
Blueharbour is a technology services company registered in England and Wales. It works with companies in Europe and worldwide on search and AI visibility, AI engineering, managed services, web engineering, cloud and data, and security readiness. It is new, and it does not publish the names of the people who work in it.
Who does what
We describe the team by the job each part does. These three functions are the same on every engagement.
Engineering
Writes and reviews the code
Engineers build, test and operate what we deliver: sites, integrations, AI systems, pipelines and infrastructure. Every change is reviewed by a second engineer before it reaches your systems.
Writing
Owns every word we hand over
Writers produce the documents that outlive a project: audits, runbooks, registers, page copy and the plain explanations of what a system can and cannot do. Technical claims are checked with engineering before they go out.
Delivery
Owns scope, schedule and the client relationship
A delivery lead keeps the written scope, runs the weekly check in and is the one name you contact about the project. Changes to scope go through them and are written down.
How a change reaches your system
The same path for a one line fix and for a new feature. Nothing reaches production without a review, a passing test run and a known way back.
- 01Change. A small change on its own branch, linked to a scope item.
- 02Review. A second engineer reads it and approves or sends it back.
- 03Test. Automated tests run in the pipeline; a failing test stops it.
- 04Release. The change goes out with a record of who released what and when.
- 05Observe. Errors and alerts are watched after release.
- ↺Rollback. If observation shows a fault, the previous release goes back out first and the cause is investigated after. A rejected review returns the change to its author.
What we will not do
Four limits, stated before any work starts so nobody is surprised later.
- We do not certify.
- We prepare controls and evidence for an audit. Certification is done by an accredited body, and we are not one.
- We do not give legal advice.
- We work from the text of a law and say where your counsel needs to decide. Legal opinions and contracts come from your lawyers.
- We do not promise placement in AI answers.
- No one outside the companies that run AI assistants controls which sources they quote. We remove the reasons to skip you and record what changes.
- We do not take work we cannot staff.
- If we do not have the people with the right skills free when you need them, we say so before you sign, not after.
Ask us something before you decide
If you want to know whether we can staff a piece of work, ask. We answer in writing.
A written reply first, a call only if we both want one.
