Entity and schema map
An entity and schema map is a record of the things your company wants search engines and AI assistants to recognise, such as the organisation, its services and the terms it defines, with the one page that defines each and the structured data that page carries.
Specification
- Input
- Your list of services and key terms, the current site structure, and the questions buyers ask that you want answered.
- Method
- We list the entities, assign each to one canonical page, check whether that page states a quotable definition, and write or correct the schema.org markup so the page, the entity and its relations agree.
- Deliverable
- An entity table with the canonical URL, definition status and schema type of each entity, plus the JSON-LD changes as reviewed code.
- Measured by
- Entities with one canonical page and valid markup, and structured data errors reported by Search Console.
