Core Web Vitals remediation
Core Web Vitals remediation is fixing the causes of slow loading, delayed response to input and layout shift on the page templates that matter, measured with field data from real visitors rather than a single lab test.
Specification
- Input
- The templates that carry traffic, field data from Search Console or your own analytics, and access to the code.
- Method
- We take the field data per template, reproduce each problem in a lab trace, find the cause, such as an unsized image, a blocking script or a slow server response, and fix it in the template.
- Deliverable
- Fixes as reviewed changes, a before and after trace per template, and a budget check in the pipeline.
- Measured by
- The share of visits per template that pass each metric in field data (industry benchmark: thresholds published by Google on web.dev).
What the file contains
